Created out of desperation, I swear by this tea as one of the only things I've found to help relieve the severe symptoms of a gastritis flare-up (if you know this pain, then you know the desperation of which I speak). This tea blend leaves out any harsh or stimulating ingredients and contains absolutely zero fillers that can irritate the most sensitive of stomachs. Instead, this tea is packed with the most soothing herbs I could get my hands on, to calm irritation of the stomach and gut. I never travel without this stuff. Have a cup - your tummy will thank you.

*PLEASE NOTE: This particular blend is intended for occasional use (to treat flare-ups, etc) and is not formulated for consistent daily use as it contains a significant amount of licorice root. While it's super soothing for all kinds of stomach and gut issues and has tons of other health benefits, licorice isn't meant to be taken in large amounts or consistently for long periods of time because the buildup of a compound called glycyrrhizin (which the body can only process so much of at a time) can reduce potassium levels, raise blood pressure, and cause other potential problems with frequent chronic consumption. (That's why it's also not a good idea to eat too much black licorice candy over a short period of time either!) While an occasional cup of tea shouldn't cause any issues, chronic or consistent use of licorice root needs to be dosed correctly. I recommend no more than 3 cups a day and no more than 2-3 weeks of daily use. Please do not consume this tea while pregnant or breastfeeding and consult your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, are taking any medications, or have a medical condition.

(Caffeine-free | Loose-leaf)

Ingredients (all organic:)
licorice root, peppermint, marshmallow root, lemon balm, calendula flowers, slippery elm bark, plantain leaf

Brewing instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per cup (8 oz) of freshly boiling water, cover, & steep for 10-15 minutes to maximize medicinal qualities. Take at the first sign of an upset stomach. In the event of an on-going flare-up where stomach pain worsens with food intake, drink a cup shortly before or soon after a meal.
